Cohen has won multiple awards for her coverage of breaking medical news and health consumer reporting, from the Ebola outbreak in Liberia to COVID-19.She received the outstanding alumnus award from Boston University, where she received her master’s degree in public health, and from Columbia College in New York City, where she received her bachelor’s degree in history. She and her husband are the proud parents of 4 daughters.
